4) Hamoa Beach

Set in a tropical setting, the half-moon-shaped beach sits below 30-foot black lava sea cliffs. Gray sand, created by a mix of coral and lava, creates a 1,000-foot long escape. It’s a popular place to for surfing and bodysurfing as the surf breaks offshore and smoothly rolls in. The left side of the beach is relatively calm and good for swimming and snorkeling.

5) Na Pili Bay

This charming little stretch of beach is well-known for its golden sands and, excellent snorkeling conditions and scenic sunsets. Families love it here because it’s easy to access, close to Lahaina, and is large enough to play in the sand and surf without feeling crowded.
