Hawaii’s only true cirque show resides at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa on the shores of the Kaanapali Coast, under the stars in the show’s brand new, outdoor venue, the Maui Moon Theatre. Cirque Polynesia tells the tale of two worlds coming together, set amongst the village of Polynesia on a stormy, tropical night. While the tribe celebrates the coming of the new season with a paina (celebration) of songs and dances of the South Pacific, the mesmerizing beat of the warrior’s drum and their voices drift like smoke into the night sky inviting a mysterious people of the darkness to join them at their fires for a magical affair that changes both their lives forever. Cirque Polynesia provides non-stop action with each stunning individual performance as entertaining as the last. Aerial acrobats, masters of balance, aerial illusionists, quick-change transformations are superbly complimented with an intimate stage setting and state-of-the-art lighting.
