"Worst Luau experience ever"
Reviewed December, 2015
We have gone to many Luau's in Hawaii and this was a huge disappointment. The entertainment was great, but how it's operated was really poor. You get a card when you check in and they don't explain how it works - so you walk in and are asked to pay for sodas and other things. We went to get our money our and the bartender told us that this card has money that we can use for drinks (lucky for us we did not throw them out)? No one told us anything about how it worked or how to use it? Then we got our seats - in the back where you can't see anything! The stage is not elevated enough so if you are on the sides toward the back you can't see a thing. We also heard a loud beeping throughout the show - when I asked the servers what it was they said it's the ice machine and it does that all the time - HUH??? Don't go here - there are lots of other amazing luau experiences...

PARADISE COVE LUAU IS A MUST ON ANYONE'S AGENDA VISITING THE ISLAND OF OAHU. WE OPTED FOR THE VIP PASS WHICH WAS PERFECT FOR US. THE VIP PASS PROVIDED US WITH FIRST CLASS TREATMENT. THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS EXCEPTIONAL, THE ENTIRE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS, AND THE MEAL WAS DELICIOUS.
Tip: DRESS COMFORTABLY AND ENJOY.

We were hesitant about going to a Luau while in Hawaii since most of them are so expense, but this was worth it. They have a great location allowing beautiful views of the sunset while engaging in the pre-dinner/show activities such as Polynesian tattoo, canoe rides, and so much more. The food was good, the show was awesome, we loved the hula dancing and the fire dancing. Worth going for sure!

Our first luau. Went with the middle 'orchid' package. Nice seating, close to the stage. The grounds itself are situated nicely near the beach and are in prime location to view a nice Hawaiian sunset. The food was fantastic. Obviously, the 'ground cooked' pig. There was also chicken, fish, lots of salad and dessert. An open bar as well for the luau beverages. Go with the Mai Tai. Delicious. Easy to get to as well, located on the southwest side of the island.

Seemed a little commercial but authentic. We were lucky to be front row and the food was very good, huge portions! There were also several activities and photos with birds. Nice for a family with children.

We came here with a bunch of friends for a going away celebration. Many of them came for the first time and this was my 3rd time to come. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious, entertainment was awesome, the setting was romantic and the atmosphere was friendly. They even got up on stage to learn the hula.
