It was a last-minute decision of ours to see this show, as we had a spare evening. What a great decision we made! It is an amazing show and John Hirokawa is an excellent illusionist, as well as putting together a wonderful show. As well as his act, there were Polynesian dancers and a stunning fire act It's suitable for families, has humour as well as great magic acts and various types of Polynesian dancing. Well worth seeing.

Tip: People can either book for dinner & the show or just for the show. We elected to forgo dinner + we had heard that dinner was nothing special.

I would definitely recommend this show to everyone. The magic is fantastic and John is a real showman! My friends and I were crying with laughter at times. The hula dancers and fire dancers were also wonderful. My 10year old son loved the show too. Food was reasonable. A must if you are visiting Waikiki

We were in Oahu in first week of Jan 17. After a great hike at diamond head and great afternoon at different beaches, we wanted to have a relaxing evening. This show was right next to our hotel ( outrigger reef) on Waikiki beach. We watched the show and had nice Thai dinner nearby. Very good evening to cap off an outstanding day. The magic is pretty good for the price and location (I have watched dozens of great magic shows)

I think the show is a great night out. But there are some issues. First if your their for the dinner show and you have food allergies that you notify in advance, they will still serve you what your alergic too and argue that the bookibg didnt have allergy request. I know it did because i booked direct. Second the show is loud, really loud, and if your epileptic be warned they use a lot of strobe light with no prior warning. The dancers are great. Both the men and the woman. They really do a good job and its authentic. The magician.... well the floor stuff he does is great and funny because it includes the crowd but be prepared because he takes the piss out of the japanese, koreans, americans..... everyone. When he does the stage act its very dated and looks a bit b grade las vegas. Its enjoyable but if you've seen a few magic shows this wont be at the top of your list. Like i say, a good night out but comes with some caveats.

First rate magic show with close up and big (appearing helicopter!) tricks. John Hirokawa interacted with the crowd while providing extremely professional entertainment. This is a great show!
