"Magic of Polynesia at Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort"

It was a last-minute decision of ours to see this show, as we had a spare evening. What a great decision we made! It is an amazing show and John Hirokawa is an excellent illusionist, as well as putting together a wonderful show. As well as his act, there were Polynesian dancers and a stunning fire act It's suitable for families, has humour as well as great magic acts and various types of Polynesian dancing. Well worth seeing.
Tip: People can either book for dinner & the show or just for the show. We elected to forgo dinner + we had heard that dinner was nothing special.

I have got to admit I wasn'[t thrilled to see a magic show, but this one was fantastic! The Elvis impersonator was so much fun! I got a peck on the cheek from him! The food was ok but plenty of chicken, fish and vegetables! Dessert was cheesecake. The magician was superb! He did tricks we have never seen before! I was very impressed! You have to go so see it to believe how interesting it was!

I took my parents and twin sons who are 12.5. It was a last minute decision to get tickets at 6pm, but I'm glad we were able to get them. The only thing I'd do differently or suggest you do, is to purchase dinner and show packages! We missed the dinner and really wished we hadn't. I was expecting a much larger audience or a larger theatre/room, but I forgot very quickly about that when the show began. The illusions are beyond mind blowing and even my father (who is a magic buff) was mesmerised by each trick. The servers there are quick to respond to your thirst (lol) so make sure you take cash to pay for drinks at your tables. They will take your photo at the beginning of the show to purchase on completion of the night which we bought, and were happy with, except, after the show, the dancers mingle with you for your own photos anyway if you wanted to avoid that cost. (But I still preferred their photo package option as a keepsake) All in all, it was a great night out - it has the potential to be in a bigger venue if you ask me (think Vegas) If you go to Hawaii, make sure you stop for this show and go. It's well worth going to see!

We took my mother in law and she really enjoyed the Preston entertainment. It was an Elis empersonator. He was pretty good. Mother in law loved it. It was packed with young people too from Korea And Japan. The magic show was pretty good but the winner was the dancers which were better than the luau dancers and fire dancers. It was packed with action. Loved this show! Doesn't get enough reviews! Can't take pictures during the show. The magician comes down Into The audience and interacts with you. Very close to the stage. This is a must see. the food was pretty good too!

This is a fantastic show at the Beachcomber Holiday Inn which is easy walking distance from most hotels in waikiki. The Elvis warm up act was great as well to start off. A great mix of magic, with lots of laughter and hawaiian dancing
