from Legends In Concert Rock-A-Hula®
Rock-a-Hula! is a spectacular live concert featuring a "Hawaiian Journey" from 1920's to current through music and powerful performances by Legends Artists, hula, fire knife dancers and amazing musicians at the Royal Hawaiian Theater.

Along with legendary artists of yesteryear, our guests enjoy contemporary popular musical artistry showcased on the same stage as the thrilling historic performers. Imagine the “King of Rock n Roll” alongside the “King of Pop” singing on stage together with Elton John and Madonna. It happens 6 nights a week (excluding Mondays) at Legends in Concert Waikiki!

The 75-minute show was specifically developed for Hawaii and has been artistically infused with Hawaiian song and dance that underscores the island connections of the original artists. The concert begins with a huge, 42-foot tall, 3-screen visual experience that “lands” the audience in Hawaii where they are greeted by ancient Hawaiian chants and kahiko hula.

During the show, historic Hawaiian performances of the original artists are recreated through the magic of computerized projections of actual concert footage blended with live, on-stage singing and dancing by the tribute artists and a dozen professional dancers. The concert concludes as the audience joins in singing Aloha ‘Oe, the most beloved of all Hawaiian songs, composed by Princess Lili‘uokalani

The show’s name, “Rock-a-Hula!” is taken from the Elvis hit song, Rock-a-Hula Baby. The song’s mixed genre of rock and roll and Hawaiian folk captures the essence of Legends in Concert Waikiki.

Recently went to this show to celebrate my 50th birthday, I chose the Luau package. What a superb experience. Every single member of the staff and cast were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and you could eat all you like. Whilst eating, they played traditional Hawaiian music and had Hula dancers. The Hula dancers also doubled up as waitresses and waiters so we could chat to them, they made us fell like their friends. These dancers were also cast in the show which was nice. The show itself was amazing, full of colour and upbeat music. Each component to the show was top class... the musicians, dancers, singers, lighting, impressionists etc. After the show we were able to meet the cast and have pictures taken with them (on our own cameras) they had staff members to take the pictures for us so we could have our own group pictures without having to trust strangers to take them. During the entire evening I didn't see one ingle member of staff/cast without a smile on their face. Highly recommend this show, there is something for everyone in this show.

Having been born in Nashville with a dad from Brownsville, naturally, I was raised on listening to Elvis. This was my first trip to Hawaii and this show helped make my trip a memorable one. I purchased the VIP Green Room ticket and it was worth the extra money. The evening started out in the Green Room with drinks and appetizers...BIG THANKS TO Ahzareh for the tips, laughs and keeping me entertained. Felt like I've known you for years. She wasn't my server during the show but she still looked out for me...The other servers were also very helpful and personable. Gavin, the production manager, provided the backstage tour and some laughs...(I hope you get to see your boys in Vegas lol--I'm rooting for you to be the 6th member lol) The dinner before the show was good and the servers were going around helping people crack their lobster which i thought was fantastic. I didnt need help but many did. Show was great. The voices were all on point along with their mannerisms. Johnny Fortuno "Elvis" comes out into the crowd and interacts, gives scarves to the ladies and shakes hands. (thanks for my scarf :) ) After show meet and greet was good. All the performers were very personable and took their time with everyone. It didnt feel rushed. I had a good time meeting everyone, hanging out and #makingmemories. Thanks to everyone for helping make my trip a memorable one. I would see the show again.

What a fantastic trip and experience. It was a birthday surprise from my husband. He had a van pick us up at the hotel. When we got there Evan Reyes met us and walked us across the street to the show. He was so amazing and accommodating. An asset to the show and business. I felt like a Queen. Talk about VIP treatment. We had a delicious vegan meal. Something that can be a little hard to find. Grilled tofu and delicious vegetables with tasty sorbet for desert. The show was beautiful. Very high energy. The dancers were so entertaining, beautiful, skilled and full of smiles. You could tell they love what they are doing. After the show Evan Reyes walked us to the van. The end to an amazing night.
