"Pleasant Experience"
May, 2018
This was our second luau and first one in Oahu. I chose this luau because of the farm to table menu, the location and the fact that did not seem to be very crowded. Overall, the luau was a pleasant experience: great dinner food, three free alcoholic drinks per person (one mai tai only), nice entertainment, nice location by the sea, the fact that the luau takes place at the Waikiki aquarium gives you the opportunity to visit the aquarium which is small and has a large amount of fish species in very well kept environments for the fish (I'd not go to an aquarium that holds dolphins or other larger animals because I do not support captivity). On the other hand, they only offered two (tiny and not so good) dessert options, the interactive activities offered, such as the lei crafting activity, seemed kind of rushed and done without much enthusiasm. Besides, the welcome mai tai, they give you two passes for alcoholic drinks but they do not tell you that there's only two types of drinks you can ask for as the two 'included' options, i.e. rum and coke and a coconut vodka/pineapple other. All the other drinks, including mai tais, are $3 extra in cash. We did not know and did not bring cash with us and the guy at the bar was a little rude because of it...But, we are not big drinkers so it worked okay. They have to improve the food catering service...the wait is too long and the long line quite unacceptable for an over $150 meal with entertainment. Overall, a good experience but there's always room for improvement. A last pro, free on-site parking if you arrive early..;)

"Diamond Head Luao was OK"

It was raining on the day of the event, and it was raining so hard and our food was getting wet. I wish there was some kind of cover for the tables. Food was OK too.

"Fake lua"
November, 2017
Having been to many luas on many islands here, this is very "commercial" and food way on the cheap side, not at all worth the money, or even half the cost. This is NOT a realistic lua, nor were the dances very "hawaiian"...they were all kicked up to be commercial and entertain, not to show you how a real lua is in Hawaii. Food? Poor to fair, and VERY on the cheap side...believe it or not the tuna poke was TWO SMALL PIECES in a small plastic container, as was the poi....I have NEVER seen such CHEAP lua meal. Entertaining, yes. Real? No. Worth the money? No....

"GREAT TIME!"
October, 2016
Getting to tour the aquarium and the hands on activities were a plus. Got to make a headpiece so much fun. Sunset was breathtaking. We had VIP package so got to set closer to front. Show is excellent. 10 year old fire dancer was amazing. The food and drinks were good. This is the only luau I have been to so have nothing to compare it to . I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

I am Hawaiian and live on Oahu. I took my Son and Daughter, my best friend and her 2 Sons from San Francisco. We were greeted by a nice man and given lei and escorted in. We also got photographed. We proceeded to walk in looking forward to the FARM TO TABLE DINING, which is unlike any other Luau. The staff was VERY welcoming, everyone of them displayed the ALOHA SPIRIT. We started off with yummy appetizers. The dinner was DELICIOUS!!! My family is quite particular and ALL OF US loved the food.. The drinks were great!!!! Top shelf and tasty.. The show was amazing especially the 10 year old fireknife dancer, Toa...also the 3 photos were truly worth paying for.... we all highly recommend this great experience..

Horrible food. Lousy entertainment. Extremely overpriced. We were pressured into this by Wyndham/Expedia when we requested information about authentic luaus - don't fall for this trap.

This was right down from Wyndham Waikiki and it was great, It is right across from Diamond Head, they had us making different things and showing us all kinds of things before the show started, the food was amazing, the show was awesome, it started raining and you are out in the open, but the show kept right on going, right beside the ocean, would for sure go back to this.
