We chose the Aloha package (lest expensive,) and had a great time. The food is OK not great. We came to see the show and we were not disappointed. Our seats were on the side, but we could see all parts of the show. Some of the jokes were predictable, but we did not expect a comedian, we got an entertainer that engaged the audience. The dances and costumes from the various islands was very entertaining. The fire dances were fantastic.

"Great Luau"

Great Luau with a delicious buffet dinner. Transportation from Waikiki and 2 drinks each were included with the price. We paid for premium seats but since this Luau only holds about 200 people the view of the stage is pretty good from any where. The show was amazing with the fire dancers closing the performance. A few activities beforehand such as Lei making and tatooing (temporary). Great for kids and adults. I have been to 3 or 4 Luau's in the past and this was one of the best.

"One of Our Trip’s Highlights! "

This was my husband and I’s first luau, and we were not disappointed! The evening started off with different activities, the woven headbands were a lot of fun to try and make. There was time to walk around, try some poi, and take pictures with the staff. Then they unveiled the pork, and the Chief blessed the meal, which was really special. There are several hundred people here, but the buffet line did move pretty quickly! Then the show started, and it was incredible! They show you glimpses of several Pacific Islands, and the dancers were really talented. The ending with the fire dancers was amazing! The whole way through the Chief has everyone laughing, but he also does something really special for the couples. I would 100% recommend the Chief’s Luau while you’re on Oahu! It was one of the highlights of our trip.

"Excellent South Pacific cultural experience"

We thoroughly enjoyed the Chief's Luau. The drinks and buffet were delicious and plentiful, the pre-show activities fun (palm tree crowns, tattoos and fire making) and the actual show was excellent to watch. It shows the dances and costumes from all the South Pacific islands (Fiji, NZ, Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti etc), so not just hula which we had seen at our hotel already. The Chief was funny and was very sweet with people celebrating a special occasion. Highly recommend it if you are celebrating a wedding anniversary. This was my mum's 3rd luau and she said Chief's was by far the best one she has attended.
