My husband, 8 year old daughter and I went to the Chief's Luau and loved everything about it. The Chief is so funny, the entertainment is inclusive and fabulous and there was so much food available. We were transported to another place and felt part of a wider family, each of us filled with excitement and love. If you are in the area, you MUST experience the Chief's Luau. It is worth every cent.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this luau. The chief was hilarious, the female and male dancers were awesome. The food was delicious and the hospitality was off the chain. It wasn't just a show; it was a complete experience. There was a story that came complete with an educational journey, laughs and crowd participation. There were activities before the show and drinks and appetizers. I recommend the royal section, there is no comparison. It's worth every penny! #chief'sLuau #AnOahuMustDo

"Stay for the Show, not the Food"

My wife and I booked this last minute for something to do one night and our first luau. We were told this was the best and based on TripAdvisor and others, we booked Chief's. We got picked up at our hotel and driven to Sea Life Park. We booked the Royal Package that came with better seating and a few more drinks. We found our seats and then went for a few of the activities that were available. The chief welcomed everyone and invited us to eat. Since we had the Royal Package, we were allowed to eat first. The food itself was mostly cold by the time we ate and we were one of the first ones in line. Some of the food tasted good. The pork was decent, while some of the starches and the Asian option weren't very good at all. It was all you can eat, so feel free to go back for seconds or thirds if you're that hungry. The show itself was an interesting look at the Polynesian cultures and dances. My wife and I especially liked the New Zealand Haka and the Fijian Warrior Dance as it reminded us of out recent honeymoon to New Zealand and Fiji. The Chief did a great job on giving an intro to each one of the cultures and the dances were great. Also, during one of the dances, when the volunteers were on stage, there's only so many times you can make "Is this your first time?" sexual and still be funny. You don't need to ask the entire two rows of women the same thing. My only gripe would be that the music was turned up way too loud and it made it uncomfortable at times. Overall, we enjoyed the show. The food wasn't great, but I didn't leave hungry. Next time, we'd probably try a different luau for another experience.

"Chiefs luau was hilarious "

I been to multiple Luaus and this one by far is the most entertaining one. He is hilarious. As for the venue, it is located inside of a sea life park, which I thought was kind of odd. And the tables and chairs just felt like it was very cheap and put together last minute. The food was okay. You do get really great views when taking photos. That’s why I gave this luau 4 stars.

"Best luau in Oahu"

We have tried all the different luau's on Oahu and the Chief's is hands down the best. Beautiful ocean backdrop setting, great food, especially the kalua pork. If you want to maximize the experience, I suggest to buy the closest seating to the stage. There is plenty of audience engagement for both adults and children, and the Chief adds humor to the show. The grand finale is a spectacular fire dance and demonstration that will truely amaze. Another must do on Oahu.
