"A Real Vacation"

From arrival to departure this was a awesome vacation. The island and resort were so easy to navigate. The island was so beautiful with no crowds and easy driving.the resort was so nice yes there was some expenses that seemed steep sush as $30 a night parking but it’s no more than San Francisco and allot better destination. I highly recommended getting a package that includes the Big Breakfast what a great way to start the day. The staff and maid service was top notch. We liked the lack of aggression from the time share people they never hassled us. We have traveled extensively and this was one of our most restful and enjoyable trips. We saw whales breaching right from the property. Our kids are grown so we tried to pick a time without so many of them. We are ready to book again same property next year. mahalo

The most beautiful island and the most beautiful hotel. We stayed 5 nights - 2 rooms ( went with husband, grown son and his girlfriend). This was my second time to the Hilton Waikoloa and it was just as I remembered- perfection.

My family went for 4 nights and had a good time. Loved seeing sea turtles in the lagoon when paddle boarding. It was in the off season and so it was quiet. It's a big resort. Rooms are comfy. We rented a car. The pools are clean. My teens had a good time in the waterslide and swimming. It was a nice break. We went to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday so when we arrived we were greeted with leis.

We booked our trip through Costco. Great deal!! Loved this resort. We were visiting in January and the weather was a perfect 80degrees everyday...so not "HOT" I just wished the pools were heated. If the pools were heated it would have been more than a perfect week.

"Too expensive for the value"

This is a beautiful hotel with a lot to offer, but they have limited options for eating so be prepared to go shopping or eat out. What restaurants they do have are expensive, and the service is really slow. Having stayed at a lot of Hilton’s, I expected a higher quality of food and was very disappointed with the lack of options. There is a store close to the hotel but the refrigerators at the hotel are small so you have to keep going to the store.
