Welcome to Kaha Lani Resort, featuring oceanfront Kauai condo rentals nestled in a lush tropical rainforest. This island hideaway has miles of white sand and turquoise ocean on one side, green fairways on the other, and pure tranquility throughout.

Large one and two bedroom Kauai condo rentals either front the ocean or have a view of it. Ocean-view suites are mere yards from the water and overlook the pool and manicured lawns, while oceanfront suites provide a panoramic vista of Wailua Bay and the Pacific. Each of these Kauai condo rentals is furnished with a unique flair and features a full kitchen, cable TV, your own private lanai, and plenty of extras.

But Kaha Lani Resort's luxuries go beyond just the condos themselves. Take a dip in the pool, lay out on the sun deck, walk to the historic preserve, run around with the kids at the Lydgate Park playground, or challenge a friend on the tennis court, putting green, or Wailua Municipal Golf Course. With these Kauai condo rentals, you get all the benefits of resort-style Kauai accommodations in a place as comfortable as home. As the sunlight dims, the barbeques light up. Enjoy your own outdoor island luau. Or, if your prefer to eat out, there are plenty of restaurants right in Lihue and Kapaa.

Tour the Grove Farm Homestead Museum in Lihue for a true depiction of what life was like on a sugar plantation. The Kauai Museum is also a great place to get a taste of that era, along with the island’s art, history, geology, flora, and fauna. When your brain is full, relax on the white sands of gorgeous Kalapaki Beach. The water here is calm, so it’s ideal for swimming. Golfers, take note of the Kauai Lagoon Golf Club also nearby, home to two Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf courses and 40 acres of freshwater lagoons. There’s also a wildlife sanctuary there. Kauai Lagoons is just one of 10 courses in the area, so be sure to bring your clubs.

Remember the film “Raiders of the Lost Ark?” The jungle where Indiana Jones made his escape is part of the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge, which is also a great place to stop and see some of Kauai’s natural beauty. Those are just a few highlights in the area. Keep going and you’ll find even more in Wailua and beyond. As you consider Kauai condo rentals, you’ll want to ensure easy access to the island’s best sights and outdoor adventures, and some off the beaten track.

"Fun 2 weeks on Kauai"

We were on Kauai for 2 weeks in June and we stayed at the Kaha Lani. It was a wonderful place to stay. The front desk staff was awesome! They were really friendly and made us feel welcome. If we needed anything they got it for us. The biggest downside was that when we first arrived the pool was closed for maintenance for 10 days. The kids were really sad about that. We went & talked to the front desk and they told us we could go to their sister property and use their pool. It was a short drive but the pool was really nice. A week later the pool opened at the Kaha Lani. We used the pool every day. We had an awesome 2 weeks there. We would definitely go back to the Kaha Lani if we go back to Kauai.

This is a decent property, with a nice view and close proximity to the beach. The beach right in front of the property is not good. It is covered with driftwood, and the surf is rough. You can walk to some other areas that are much nicer. The room was ok, but was not the cleanest I've ever seen. We had an ocean front room, which was nice, but the beds are tucked in the back, so no listening to the ocean at night. My biggest issue was the pool being closed for our entire stay and we were not notified. Our room was 20 feet from the pool, so it was difficult for my kids to understand why they couldnt use it. When I inquired about why I wasn't notified about the pool, I was given an excuse that they notified the booking partners and it wasn't their fault. I don't care for excuses when the damage is done. They did give me a small credit, but it wasn't close to enough to satisfy my kids that they had no pool. Very expensive in general, but extremely overpriced without the pool and no serviceable beach.

I'll start with grounds are nice. However, the nearby beach is terrible. The recommended beach nearby, Lydgate Beach Park is small, and there are large chunks of driftwood floating around. Four of our beds were incredibly uncomfortable - the pull out bed a complete mess! Pest and ground maintenance occurred three days of our stay (out of 9) at 6 a.m. We arranged a late check in (I called twice to confirm our details), but security was not around to meet us, and did not answer their phone when we called. Corporate called, and even then no answer for a while, leaving us waiting in the parking lot after 12 hours of travel. When we asked regarding a late check out, the desk clerk began shaking her head before she knew my room number, stating it was already booked....11 is check out and 3 is check in, but there could be zero accommodation? While I understand that's not owed us, I've never found it to be an issue at any other location we've stated...even if only a shortened option. Overall this was a real miss property for us. With so many other options available, we would not recommend this facility.

"Loved the Condo"

This was a great find! The condo was clean, updated, and had everything you need for cooking great meals... and the veranda with ocean view, was fantastic... The pool is micro, but we go to hawaii for the beaches, so it didn't really matter to us. The property is great. We will be back for sure!! It was our first time to Kauai and we absolutely loved it! Costco and Safeway was close by, and great restaurants too! Rum tasting at Koloa Rum Plantation is a must, then head over to Gaylords for amazing happy hour drinks and food specials. The Short Ribs sliders and Mai Tais were off the chart yummy!!

"The Best Landlord We Never Had at Kaha Lani"

My husband and I were looking forward to a three week stay at Dan’s condo at Kaha Lani, unit 211. We had stayed at Kaha Lani last year at a different condo and found it to be a wonderful place to stay - spacious condos, excellent location and responsive management. Unfortunately, I had a relapse in my cancer and had to cancel our trip. Dan was completely understanding and did everything he could do to rent the condo so we could get a refund on most of of our payment. We were also grateful for his personal concern about my health. Needless to say, we will stay at unit 211 next year, my health not withstanding. Thanks, Dan, for all you did for us. Jim and Marcia
