Welcome to Kaha Lani Resort, featuring oceanfront Kauai condo rentals nestled in a lush tropical rainforest. This island hideaway has miles of white sand and turquoise ocean on one side, green fairways on the other, and pure tranquility throughout.

Large one and two bedroom Kauai condo rentals either front the ocean or have a view of it. Ocean-view suites are mere yards from the water and overlook the pool and manicured lawns, while oceanfront suites provide a panoramic vista of Wailua Bay and the Pacific. Each of these Kauai condo rentals is furnished with a unique flair and features a full kitchen, cable TV, your own private lanai, and plenty of extras.

But Kaha Lani Resort's luxuries go beyond just the condos themselves. Take a dip in the pool, lay out on the sun deck, walk to the historic preserve, run around with the kids at the Lydgate Park playground, or challenge a friend on the tennis court, putting green, or Wailua Municipal Golf Course. With these Kauai condo rentals, you get all the benefits of resort-style Kauai accommodations in a place as comfortable as home. As the sunlight dims, the barbeques light up. Enjoy your own outdoor island luau. Or, if your prefer to eat out, there are plenty of restaurants right in Lihue and Kapaa.

Tour the Grove Farm Homestead Museum in Lihue for a true depiction of what life was like on a sugar plantation. The Kauai Museum is also a great place to get a taste of that era, along with the island’s art, history, geology, flora, and fauna. When your brain is full, relax on the white sands of gorgeous Kalapaki Beach. The water here is calm, so it’s ideal for swimming. Golfers, take note of the Kauai Lagoon Golf Club also nearby, home to two Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf courses and 40 acres of freshwater lagoons. There’s also a wildlife sanctuary there. Kauai Lagoons is just one of 10 courses in the area, so be sure to bring your clubs.

Remember the film “Raiders of the Lost Ark?” The jungle where Indiana Jones made his escape is part of the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge, which is also a great place to stop and see some of Kauai’s natural beauty. Those are just a few highlights in the area. Keep going and you’ll find even more in Wailua and beyond. As you consider Kauai condo rentals, you’ll want to ensure easy access to the island’s best sights and outdoor adventures, and some off the beaten track.

"Great 6 night stay"

Booked Kaha Lani at the last minute and were very happy. We didn’t want to spend $400/night like so many other Kauai resorts and found Kaha Lani was a great and quiet location and very nicely kept resort. Our unit 114 had a cooler, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment and beach towels, even freezer packs. Kitchen had basic staples (coffee, filters, seasonings, mustard, ketchup, dressings, etc) and supplies (garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, etc). Kitchen had a blender, plenty of cooking equipment for meal prep. We used gas grills located in parking lot or pool every night. We found the bbq grill was a nice way to meet people (also grilling) who came to this resort repeatedly. There’s even a weekly gathering at the pool from 4-5 on Wednesdays. Laundry facility was great to have since we went through a couple sets of clothes every day. WiFi was good but cell service was poor however this was true many places on Kauai. A beach walking path runs along the shore in front of the resort and Lydegate Park is on each end (north, south) of Kaha Lani complete with sand beaches and nice playgrounds. We would definitely recommend this resort and felt it was a good value at $250/night

My husband and I decided to spend at least 2 weeks in someplace warm the first winter of his retirement. A travel agent helped us choose this place. I don’t know if it was a mix up with our travel agent or the resort, but 5 days before we left, our itinerary showed a $100 a night increase in our bill from the original quote. Someone clearly didn’t take into account that our travel days were in the peek season. We will spend a week here then move to a less expensive place. Room 120 is nice, on the ground floor. We can walk to the beach! It’s a 1 bedroom unit with additional half bathroom. The kitchen has lots of dishes & pots & pans, but lacking in appliances. Only a coffee maker, hot pot and blender. No toaster, no mixer, no griddle, no slow cooker. Must drive for groceries and eating out. I like the minimalist cleaning. Prefer the staff letting me help myself. Used the bbq one night and liked having the option. I understand that each unit is different, but can something be done to help the unit owners maintain a standard for amenities?

"Great stay on the quiet side of Kauai"

We had an excellent stay over the New Years weekend. Kaha Lani It is not crowded with tourist, giving you a great taste of the quiet side of the island. We rented a one bedroom, 1 ½ bath ocean front condo. All the units have a full kitchen, which was convenient as it saved us a ton of dining-out money. There were enough pots, pans, glasses, silverware and appliances to make about anything. It would be no problem for a family of four to fit here comfortably. As there were only two of us it was the lap of luxury. The wifi was free and fast and the cable tv had almost everything we needed for the times that the sun was down and you couldn’t stare at the waves. There is no air conditioning, but there were ceiling fans as well as table fans that helped out the cool winds that came off the ocean 90% of the time. Since we were on the third floor we always kept the windows on the ocean side open except for the couple of hours of direct sun. We decided to sleep in the living room on the fold out bed instead of the back bedroom which was a little stuffy. Drifting off to sleep listening to the wave’s crash was much preferable. Speaking of sleeping; as with most of Kauai the Roosters are everywhere, so if you do not want to be awakened at 4 AM every day, you will need earplugs and miss listening to the waves. Where is Colonel Sanders when you need him? The large balcony overlooked a lawn, bike path (which I believe goes all the way to Kapaa) and the ocean. There is a table, chairs and two loungers provided. Kaha Lani’s staff were excellent. I talked with the front desk staff multiple times and they were nothing but accommodating and friendly every time. The maintenance staff came by after repairing a broken chair and was very friendly as well. The resort is located between two parks, so if you have kids there are multiple playgrounds and a low wave lagoon a short walk away. There were even small fish for the kids to do mini-snorkeling. Right in front of the resort the beach that is too rough for swimming, but the beach combing was great. There is a small pool as well. The resort provides beach towels daily. There is a laundry room which was helpful as it allowed us to pack less. You need a car to get to the town of Kapaa, a couple miles away as there is no restaurant here. My wife is Vegan, and the town has multiple places to eat with a restricted diet as well as multiple vegan/vegetarian grocery stores. Do your research before you book as there are cleaning fees, but we had no surprises on our bill. We cannot wait to come back.

"Omg someone should gently tell their owners to update beds. Stay away from 201"

We just returned as a family from a few days in kauai. First off, the grounds and the management were impeccable. They were accommodating for a late check in and unusual check out. The condo was clean and bug free. That said, the condo was dated. It was showing its rental age. The queen bed was hard and the pillows were worse. The two twins weren’t any better. We consistently rent condos or houses because of needing a kitchen and while I understand it’s a rental the dated “pull out” rattan couch was more comfortable than the bed. The grounds, staff, and security was amazing. The condo itself was the opposite end of disappointing.

"Great place to stay as staging area for Kauai's many tourist highlights"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

Really enjoyed this clean, quiet condo on Kauai's south shore. Because the highway does not circle the island, this was a great location to visit both of Kauai's major tourist attractions (Waimea Canyon and Kalalau trail). In addition, very close to Waimea Falls and Sleeping Giant. The hotel was clean and and tidy, located off the busy main road. Eventhough access to the ocean in front of the condo was not kid friendly, there is an amazing path to the statepark adjacent to the grounds. Definitely recommend staying here to other guests. Nothing you can do about the noisy roosters except to embrace there presence.
