"Night volcano tour"

It was a literal torrential downpour with so much fog you could not see the crater or even the glow from the Caldera..extremely disappointing. Also could not go thru Thurston lava tube because of flooding. Dinner was very small, glass of wine and walk thru jager museum. Not worth the $290 I paid for our 13th anniversary tour

We did the Zippin Volcano tour. My mom, who is 73 really wanted to do the zip line portion. I on the other hand am deathly afraid of height and bridges and this tour does have some suspension bridges and obviously there are heights. I decided to do the tour because I could not let my mom and my 12 year old son show me up. We did the Volcano part first and our driver was Jesse. This was interesting and educational and we saw some amazing sights. Then we made our way to the zip line course, Orie was our driver and he was polite and respectful. We got suited up and were ready to zip. At this point I had a meltdown. My fear got the best of me but luckily for me Devin was one of our guides. He ended up being my therapist through the course. He did some breathing exercises with me and was super encouraging. He was not pushy and allowed me to take my time and when I was ready I jumped. It really was an amazing day. The other zip line guides, David,Tiffany, and Dishman (?), were great too. They made us all feel safe and cared for and were never made us feel rushed. I normally don’t give reviews but this excursion was so fantastic that I had to give a shout out to the amazing guides and drivers on this tour.
