The reason for the average score is because we had a very rude driver on Pink line, he said we had the wrong paperwork and had to go back to Galleria to get it validated. We explained that was where we got the voucher. He started the trolley so we sat down thinking he was taking us back to T Galleria. We got to an intersection and he beckoned us to come to the front, said get off and get voucher validated, I asked if we had enough time to walk there and catch our Blue line bus. He said he didn’t know, when I said he must have some idea, he said “Maam you are wasting time, just get off the bus” we went to T Galleria, only to be told that voucher needed validating at Waikiki Galleria, she said the girl who served us was a stand in and didn’t know the procedure, when I pointed out she was also there and had explained the different colour routes to us, a refund was given. So we missed our island tour. Advice would be to purchase from your hotel tour desk. The two dollar trolley ride worked really well and we had a great lady driver with a wonderful sense of humour. Just make sure you have correct money as they do not give change.

Stayed in Hawaii for a week, first time visitor, the bus is on time (make sure you plan your journey as the timetable of the buses had been given), choices of different lines with a different destination/ route, the driver is very good and full of the knowledge of the area, give tips on where to shop or cheaper convenient store or where to meet at the bus stop (very informative). If you buying the voucher online you have to swap them first at their depot to get the tickets, you can't give it to the driver, we did it at DFS centre depot, we bought 4 days pass as we were a week in Hawaii. It was worth it, from blue line 'Coastal sightseeing' to pink line the shopping route, if you don't want to rent a car this is a perfect way to go.

For $2.50 a good value to get to and from the big Mall. It can be crowded and not punctual but then again what is the rush.
