"Outstanding Experience!"
September, 2018
We went on the cruise after I found it in a tourist coupon book. I elected the 5 star cruise and it was so worth it! We were boarded first, had a truly memorable photo with the captain and had lite snacks and drinks before being seated. As for the cruise itself, the views of the shoreline, Diamond Head, and the sunset were absolutely spectacular. The crew/staff were very attentive throughout the cruise. The dinner was a 7 course masterpiece. 3 drinks each were provided free of charge. During the latter half of the dinner we were entertained by a fabulous jazz performance and traditional hula for the beginning. All in all this was the best event we attended on our week in Honolulu. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone seeking a highly romantic night out!

"Disappointing Anniversary Dinner"
September, 2018
We were in Hawaii to celebrate a wedding anniversary and were told the sunset cruise was a MUST do so we decided to do it for our anniversary. It was sooooo disappointing. We paid about $100 and truthfully it was more like a backpackers get together than a special Occassion celebration. It felt like we were being herded on like cattle to then realise we were on the bottom deck. The food was very average and definitely not worth $100 per person. Drinks weren’t included in that price. We were told there was a fabulous show ....the show was at best a 2 person sing along. It was so so so disappointing. We had told the person booking us in that it was for our anniversary and she said we would get the best seat in the house but in fact we were stuck in a corner that was so ugly even the photographer told us to move to get a nice photo. We declined moving and the photo. It wasn’t something we wanted to remember. Let down for our anniversary. Pricing should be reviewed. It was more like a $30 cruise than a $100 cruise. Biggest disappointment and spoilt our anniversary night

We were a party of 12 people and the service was impeccable. Great entertainment with live jazz music. We took a photo with the captain. From boarding to disembarking the staff made us feel special. Definitely a "Must do" when in Honolulu.

"A Dinner Cruise in the Honolulu Harbour area"
March, 2015
My wife and I went out on a dinner cruise aboard the Star of Honolulu on February 27, 2015. The experience was just great. We booked the five star dinner cruise in order to have top of the line service and food and we were not disappointed.

From the time we boarded we were treated like VIP's and the young man who was to serve us throughout the evening greeted us by name as we had canapés and a drink on the back deck. He showed us to our table and was attentive at the end of the night as he was at the beginning.

Each meal course was served at exactly the right time and presentation was excellent. The food was delicious as were the drinks.

We were entertained throughout the evening by a wonderful piano musician who later joined by a saxophonist, then a singer. During the mid point of our meal we had traditional hula dancers providing an excellent show.

Overall the evening was great success in all areas. My wife and I loved it and would not fail to recommend this to anyone who should be visiting Honolulu as a "must attend event".

Tip: The lower decks seem to have a livlier brand of music with more of a party atmosphere. As we went out on the open deck we could hear their music and wondered what it would be like there. Next time we'll try that..

My daughter had an accident in the boat She feels downstairs looking for the restroom , they just put us in a horrible stinky room with out anything we pay for they didn't bring water or our dinner , just a dirty yowel with a piece of ice so my daughter can put in the head they didn't care about us , they just care about anyone knows what happened to my daughter omg we were in that room for more than 1 hr , when we decided to go back to the table they come to tell us to go back to the room we said no, so they started asking many personal question and about the hotel room and how many more days we going to be there , if we had more family there , I was very scared so I said we don't want to go back to the horrible room and no going to answer more questions, there dinner was cold because they bring it to the table when we were in the room separated of the people, We also miss the show, I was very disappointed with everything and sad about my daughters life was in danger omg , they don't have lights or camera by the stairs jus a small light , I tuck a pct of it . after the creepy experience , I call the next day asking for a refund , I don't think someone have to pay to have there kids in danger and horrible experience, but they refused to return my money , parents be careful with this company stars of honolulu.

I had a wonderful experience on my dinner cruise. The crab and steak were my favorite food, but the best part of my experience was my tour bus driver Lola Tripp. She is a wonderful lady whose bubbly personality and great insight of Oahu made my trip worth it. I would absolutely recommend anyone who wants to have a wonderful experience to request to be on Lola’s bus! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed a nice steak and crab dinner with live entertainment, suitable for the entire family, then topped off the night with a lovely fireworks display. The tour bus picked us up from our hotel and returned us there after the cruise.

"Star of Honolulu Dinner Cruise"

It was a lovely cruise. The food was very good. I had prime rib, and it was delicious. The sunset was fantastic. The servers did a great job about waiting on you and bringing whatever was requested. The only thing I did not like was when most of the guests did a dance between the tables at the end; and, since I was sitting in the aisle, I was continually bumped as the many people danced down the aisle. My husband and I went outside and enjoyed the rest of the cruise until it ended.
