We were a party of 12 people and the service was impeccable. Great entertainment with live jazz music. We took a photo with the captain. From boarding to disembarking the staff made us feel special. Definitely a "Must do" when in Honolulu.

"A Dinner Cruise in the Honolulu Harbour area"
March, 2015
My wife and I went out on a dinner cruise aboard the Star of Honolulu on February 27, 2015. The experience was just great. We booked the five star dinner cruise in order to have top of the line service and food and we were not disappointed.

From the time we boarded we were treated like VIP's and the young man who was to serve us throughout the evening greeted us by name as we had canapés and a drink on the back deck. He showed us to our table and was attentive at the end of the night as he was at the beginning.

Each meal course was served at exactly the right time and presentation was excellent. The food was delicious as were the drinks.

We were entertained throughout the evening by a wonderful piano musician who later joined by a saxophonist, then a singer. During the mid point of our meal we had traditional hula dancers providing an excellent show.

Overall the evening was great success in all areas. My wife and I loved it and would not fail to recommend this to anyone who should be visiting Honolulu as a "must attend event".

Tip: The lower decks seem to have a livlier brand of music with more of a party atmosphere. As we went out on the open deck we could hear their music and wondered what it would be like there. Next time we'll try that..

When you break down everything you get, the price was worth it. We did the unlimited crab leg package and it was really good. The wait staff was wonderful. The views from the ship were great. The mai tai was a little light on rum. 10$ for additional drinks. They had two kinds of beer, Budweiser and Ichiban. As many other reviews have shared, the ice cream is incredible. The dancers kind of pop in and out and dance during dinner. The fireworks were nice (Friday night package) but very brief. I was a little uncomfortable during the fireworks as EVERYONE stands on that one side of the boat and I felt like it was tipping that way.

Deyvon & Shay Lynn, You both were fantastic host the entire evening. I can’t thank you both enough for the attention & care provided to my family. The two of you set a high bar for our next vacation to Hawaii. I think my children had more fun on this two hour cruise then they did at Aulani the entire week, That says a lot. Looking forward to seeing you all again & trying out Rockin Hula Luau as you recommended when we return to the Islands. Mahalo, Johnson Family.

Great way to see Waikiki from the ocean. Make sure to include the fireworks when booking a Friday night sunset dinner cruise. The view of the beach and fireworks from the ocean is amazing. The food was great. A must do when in Hawai'i.

Very well organized and carried out program from beginning to end. We had transportation included with our package so had no problem driving to and parking near docks. Entertainment greeted us as we stepped out of van until we boarded ship. First drink was included and served as soon as seated. Tables were beautifully set and ready with salads and bread followed shortly with a delicious comp,Ted meal that included filet mignon and all you could eat crab legs. Followed by a very delightful Hawaiian show that ended with all the servers getting into the act as well as guests. What a way to celebrate an occasion and witness the indescribable Hawaiian sunset!
