We were a party of 12 people and the service was impeccable. Great entertainment with live jazz music. We took a photo with the captain. From boarding to disembarking the staff made us feel special. Definitely a "Must do" when in Honolulu.

"A Dinner Cruise in the Honolulu Harbour area"
March, 2015
My wife and I went out on a dinner cruise aboard the Star of Honolulu on February 27, 2015. The experience was just great. We booked the five star dinner cruise in order to have top of the line service and food and we were not disappointed.

From the time we boarded we were treated like VIP's and the young man who was to serve us throughout the evening greeted us by name as we had canapés and a drink on the back deck. He showed us to our table and was attentive at the end of the night as he was at the beginning.

Each meal course was served at exactly the right time and presentation was excellent. The food was delicious as were the drinks.

We were entertained throughout the evening by a wonderful piano musician who later joined by a saxophonist, then a singer. During the mid point of our meal we had traditional hula dancers providing an excellent show.

Overall the evening was great success in all areas. My wife and I loved it and would not fail to recommend this to anyone who should be visiting Honolulu as a "must attend event".

Tip: The lower decks seem to have a livlier brand of music with more of a party atmosphere. As we went out on the open deck we could hear their music and wondered what it would be like there. Next time we'll try that..

"Sunset cruise amazing views"

Went on sunset cruise 3 star on Monday day. Nearly all Asian. Food excellent except steak was cold as put out when everyone was out photographing sunset. Good value with meal and 2 drinks. Show ok but not very Hawaiian with more overall Polynesian theme. Check out lots of websites as prices vary a lot. Used Toms Barefoot tours and great with pick up from 5 min walk away

We booked with this company because it's big and the reviews looked promising. We took lots of great pictures of the Oahu shoreline, ocean, and even a few pics of Whales. My wife and i both thought it was well worth the money just for the scenery.

"Friday night Fireworks and Seafood dinner"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed April 09, 2018 NEW
My beautiful wife and I and booked the Friday night dinner Cruise and Fireworks. The meal was steak and Lobster, and a couple complimentary drinks, and a 3 hours cruise because it was the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton. The ship leaves from the Aloha Tower and easy enough to find on Memitz hwy. We took a cab because we planned on have more that the two complimentary drinks before heading bank to the hotel. The staff were awesome, especially Joshua and Freddie Hill. They never let our drinks go empty or a dirty plate left in front of us. The boat was very clean, however they went so slow to make the cruise last 3 hours that the boat rocked a lot more in the waves than it would have if they were going cruising speed. Lots of people, and a lot of rude people that must have thought they paid more then the rest of us and were untitled to but in front of lines. It was a great evening other than the rude people, about $90 a piece for the Seafood / Steak Supper. I cant see us doing it again with a couple hundred others. Glad we did experience the cruise, we will probably go back to the smaller cruise again like the Alii Nui.
