"Awesome Time with Kona Ocena Experience"

Captain Dave did a great job finding dolphins, whales and other sea life as well as explain the science behind many of their behaviors... he also had a solid knowledge of local history and archeological sites and locations. Definitely a must do experience in Kona.

This was a wonderful experience. We saw plenty of spinner dolphins, and they were swimming next next to us. The snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay is also great. Our guide was very nice and friendly. It was the best experience we had in Hawaii.

"Magnificent Manta Rays"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Being in the water with the magnificent gentle giants that are the Manta Rays at night is something to behold. We were visited by just one Manta Ray, Amanda, but she was so beautiful and graceful and inspired awe in all of us. The Kona Ocean Experience staff were skilled and made the trip a pleasure. As many Mantas as they have seen, they still made our viewing seem special and "something to behold". One Manta is all you need to see to be transported to another place of wonder, beauty and awe. These gentle marine giants glide through the water, approaching you on the surface only to roll over just prior to reaching you, scooping up plankton by the massive mouthful. This is not to be missed and Bambi and her staff are excellent guides in this grand adventure. A must. Not to be missed. The small boat makes the adventure just that much more personal and special. And, what is more... if you don't see any Mantas, you can reschedule another time for another try. That's what I did and I was delighted to see them the 2nd time out. What a treat!

"Super personalized Manta snorkel"

Kona Ocean experience Bambi retains the personal feeling of a small group charter for the night Manta snorkeling experience. She gives an interesting historical tour of the Keauhou area first and then carefully prepares guests for the Manta snorkel. Although the site is crowded with many boats and people, Bambi & her crew make this an enjoyable outing with Kona' famed rays.
