We chose this tour because it doesn't visit Dole Pineapple Plantation and make random coffee stops! It's all about seeing the scenery. Our guide, Paolo, was a gem. Japanese/Italian, he had an interesting personal story of his Japanese-Hawaiian father's experience in WW2, and how his parents met, which he related to us near the end of the tour when we were approaching the Byodo-In Temple. That was a highlight of the tour, along with the Botanical garden with its beautiful flowers & birds. Other tour members enjoyed a swim at the waterfall. We had a packed lunch provided at this stop also. Since it was summer, the North Shore beaches weren't so impressive (& we have nicer ones in Australia) but the Halona Blowhole on south shore was doing what it is meant to, and it was nice to look down over Haunamaa Bay. Saw our first mongooses there too.

This tour was easy to book. Our driver/guide was prompt and courteous. She shared detailed information about the tour which helped us manage our time so we were able to experience all that we wanted to visit. My husband and I would recommend this tour as a must see when you visit Honolulu.

Pearl Harbour is an emotional tour and worth the visit, but my low score is because we didn't have enough time allocated at the Memorial and were dropped back home an hour early. We were picked up at 8.50 am and supposed to be dropped back at the hotel at 4.30. We drove past the National Cemetary at Punchbowl, then went to USS Missouri where the signing of the surrender took place, then onto the Arizona Memorial. All ok so far. We got to the Memorial at 11.30am, were given our Navy Boat tickets, our lunch vouchers and hurried sketchy directions about where to go to catch the boat over to the Arizona Memorial. We were all confused where to go, it's a big place. Time was now around 11.40, The lady driver told us she had to take another tour group back into the city, and would be back to pick us up at 2.30, latest 2.45, about 3 hours. By the time we queued and got our hot dog, it was already after 12 o'clock. We had to eat it quickly, rush to get the audio set, get to the first museum to see the artifacts, rush through that, rush through the second museum with movie, allow 75 minutes for the boat trip to the Arizona Memorial, which left at 1.30, leaving us precisely zero time to walk to the contemplation circle, remembrance circle, Arizona anchor, return the audio sets and go to the gift shop. We made it back to the bus in time, frustrated that we had missed several points of interest. The city tour was of no consequence. Personally I would have preferred missing out on that and stayed longer at Pearl Harbour. We were dropped back near our hotel at 3.30 pm, an hour before the tour should have ended! Why? I feel that we should have had that extra hour at the Memorial to be able to see all that we expected. Wish we had gone with Enoa Tours, as the previous day we'd done a tour with them and they had so much time for us. Such is life, don't make the same mistake we did.

Went with family and tried 3 tours: Helicopter Tour: it's one of my favorite tour which they pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport. From there they will take you up in a helicopter and you show you most of Honolulu. You will get the idea why they call this place Heaven on Earth. It's an amazing view of the island 🌴 and you will love it. You can chose a helicopter with the doors on or with the doors off. There are 2 types of helicopters to chose from: a big one or a small one. The big ones has like 5 or 6 people and some people will not get a window seat which kind of sucks. The small one only has the pilot and only 3 passengers which means 1 passengers will sit next to the pilot and the other 2 will be in the back having their own window to view. So I would suggest the small one just because everyone gets a window seat 💺.

Easy to book online. Punctual pickup. Driver however gave a very biased WWII story and needs to check her facts. I admit to eye rolling several times during her story telling. She also went on and on about how expensive her kid's school fees were... Overall she was nice and did give us tips about Pearl Harbour (sitting on the far end of the theatre to get a good seat on the boat). But the tip fishing isn't appreciated.
