Took the Circle Island tour on April 26th. The tour guide Paolo was incredible. Having been on many tours throughout the US and abroad he was the best guide HANDS DOWN. His knowledge of Hawaiian culture coupled with his caring attitude and storytelling skills were simply amazing. I would highly recommend any tour this tour guide is involved with.

"Circle Island Eco Tour and Waimea waterfall"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

This was our first visit to Oahu and we wanted to get the full island experience and didn't want to drive around on our own. We also wanted to focus on the natural beauty of the island instead of the really 'touristy' attractions. After doing a lot of research, we decided upon the Circle Island Eco Tour. There are many tour companies offering island circle tour but this is one of the only ones that includes a visit to the Waimea waterfall in addition to the circle tour. We were picked up right next to our hotel by our tour guide Paolo Matsumoto. We couldn't have asked for a better way to experience all the island had to offer. Paolo is the personification of all that Hawaii has to offer; full of knowledge and interesting information about the island and its history with unique personal anecdotes and stories. Our excursion was made more interesting by Paolo's stories and anecdotes, far far better than the usual canned speil. Added bonus, he also sings, plays guitar, and made palm leaf head-dresses for all his passengers! The tour includes visiting to many picturesque spots including Nu’uanu Pali Lookout, the North Shore beaches and the Hanauma Bay Lookout points but the absolute highlight of the tour is a short hike to the Waimea waterfall. Carry your swimwear if you want to take a dip. The tour also includes a stop at a macadamia nut factory (closed when we visited) and the serene Byodo In temple. Lunch is provided as part of the tour and you also stop for island street food and souvenir shopping. Protip: get the chicken and pork skewers. Delicious! Pros: -Entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide -Small groups, personalized attention, no rushing about being herded about by the guide -You get to see the whole island including some of the best lookout points. Plent of photo ops. -Waimea valley and waterfall. Beautiful! Cons: -Not the best option for families with younger children. To get the most out of this tour you need to be able to appreciate the history and natural beauty of the island. Younger kids may not enjoy this as much. TL;DR - If you like nature and enjoy learning about history and ecology of the Hawaiian islands, go for it. If you have very small children with short attention spans, go for something shorter.

"Pearl Harbour and City Tour - a great teip"

Cousin A looked after us and we had a blast, from his rapid fire guiding to ukulele serenade he kept us laughing and engaged. Hotel pick up was smooth and we headed through city streets (with running commentary!) to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Punchbowl Crater to the government buildings and royal palace before heading to Pearl Harbour. A good morning out.
