"The Complete Pearl Harbor Experience"

We had a wonderful tour guide, cousin Shannon. We were picked up on time, he provided a lot of information about the island and Pearl Harbor. He made sure we made it into each of our stops and was always there on time to pick us up from a stop. The tour is definitely the easiest way to manage seeing Pearl Harbor, no waiting in line for tickets, etc. We really enjoyed visiting all the sites on this tour. If we were to return to Hawaii, we would use Discover Hawaii Tours again.

"This tour is for someone who is enraptured by Pearl Harbor"

This tour is heavy duty Pearl Harbor and not much else. It was long and not practically interesting. The tour guides were silly, calling everyone "Cousin" and acting child like. We did get some information at the end on the drive to drop off at the hotels. The guide was basically a drop off/pickup person. The hotdog lunch was served before 9:15 a.m. because we had the movie at 9:15 a.m. to watch. Very disappointed.

"Circle Island Tour Worth the Ride"

We took the Circle Island Tour in Oahu and are we glad we did. Oahu has so much more to offer than Wakiki Beach. The scenery around the island are spectacular. The stops made on the trip are great. Our driver Paolo was outstanding and knew his history of Hawaii and since he was born on Oahu knows all the spots. He even has a surprise for his tour groups. It was a long day but you would never have been able to see what we had seen on this tour on your own. Highly recommended

"Volcano National Park Tour with Helicopter"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We flew from Oahu to the Big Island for this tour. Up early and taken to Honolulu Airport for a 7 a.m. flight. Made it to Hilo airport in plenty of time for our 9 a.m. helicopter ride over lava fields and the rest of the island. Absolutely the best part of this tour. We met our tour guide, Mel, after our 45 minute ride. We met other people on the tour who did not opt for the helicopter at a tourist store nearby. I imagine they were there from the time our plane landed about 8:30. The rest of the day was spent touring the great Volcano National Park and the many wonderful sights to see there. Mel was most knowledgeable and willing to share his many stories about the Island. Lunch was at the Sky Restaurant, part of an observatory on the Island. As you'd expect for this highly visited tourist attraction, it was crowded but not overly. The buffet looked good, although expensive like most food on the Island, we opted for menu items. Service was quick and food was very good. Evening meal was at a military resort. It was OK, but since we were not staying at the resort, they limited what food options we had. Kind of strange but understandable since they aren't really there to accommodate tourists. It was average eats and topped off the day before our drive back to Hilo. Our flights, transfers, directions, and support were all accomplished without issue. We made it back to Honolulu and met our morning driver exactly where he said he'd be. We made it back to our Waikiki Hotel about 10:30. A long day, but the helicopter trip was worth it. Our only complaint was a very hot bus that was showing its age. The seats were peeling and the AC didn't seem to handle the full load and the warming temperatures. Be prepared for a long day with all the joys of the National Park but also the challenges of travelling with 20 of your new closest friends.
