"Pearl Harbor And Oahu In A Day"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed June 19, 2017 NEW
We were only on Oahu for a week so chose the Pearl Harbor And Oahu Circle Island Tour to take in as much as possible without having to hire a car. The first stop was Pearl Harbor with enough time given to look around and visit the Arizona Memorial. We then set off on our tour around the island stopping off here and there, as shown on Gray Line's website, for photo opportunities. Our guide was Leo - very funny and very knowledgable. If I had one complaint it would be that some of the stops were merely at visitor centres encouraging you to spend money when the afternoon session, which, apart from a stop at the Dole Plantation visitor centre, was one long drive, could have been broken up with a stop on the North Shore. Overall though I would certainly recommend this tour.

"A full on day in peak season, great value"

Peak season is a very busy time to take in a series of venues. It became apparent early that a guided tour was the only way to see the four attractions in one day. We visited the Arizona Memorial, the battleship Missouri, Ford Island Aviation Museum and the USS Blowfish. Our guide Tommy was a font of knowledge and viewing hints. He guided us through the masses of people without rush and in good humour. He was mindful of photographers needs as well. We were happily tired at the end of the day. This tour is great value especially considering the large numbers of people and the ease of transferring from one venue to another.

That's all I can say. We were lucky to get Netty, your no.1 tourist guide in our Haleakala sunrise tour. I wouldn't even think twice to recommend your company or even do this tour again. She made the trip unforgettable even if we had to go at 2am in the morning. Thanks Netty, you rock!

"Best Tour & Tour Guide!!!"

Poly Adventure Tours is the way to go for a sunrise tour on Haleakala! We were picked up in Laihana at about 2:20am and the first stop was at a store to pick up light snacks and ginger for the ride up and to use the rest room before the trip. We then began our trip up the mountain. Nettie is amazing & fast! We got to the visitor center with 20 min to spare before sunrise which was amazing! We have a clear morning and it wasnt windy at all but you still need to wear warm clothes! I have a thermal layer of pants with sweats ontop and then a hat, uggs, northface with 2 shirts underneath & gloves. Be prepared! Once we got back on the bus NEttie had hot chocolate/danishes/coffee for everyone since you do not eat breakfast still closer to 8 am! NEttie then took us to the summit where we spent over an hour taking pictures, she was amazing and took photos of every couple/group. It was truly magical! On the way back down we restopped at the visitor center for bathroom and photos and then began the decent down. We then stopped at the breakfast on a golfcourse which was pretty good. All in all this was the best way for us as honeymooners to experience the sunrise. We didnt have to worry about a thing the tour was amazing but Nettie truly make it unforgettable!
