Everything went great on our Napali coast catamaran ride. Check in was easy. There were 3 groups at the same time, but we received a colored card which identified our boat. After a boat safety meeting, we started off. There was plenty of room--we moved easily from front to back to covered inside area. Space was made to set our bags so they were protected from the elements. The crew was OUTSTANDING. We were with Captain Roy. He did a great job of steering the boat, but also provided interesting information along the way. There were 3 other members of the crew. They rotated between different places to make themselves available to steady us as we walked. They were interested in our personal stories and did a great job helping with whatever; they took pictures for anyone who wanted them, often offering without being asked. The scenery was the purpose of the trip, and it didn't disappoint. Just beautiful. The lunch too was great, especially the burger. After making our way up to the furthest reach of our cruise, we turned around and made our way to a snorkeling spot. Again, all assistance was provided, and one crew member was on the water the total time. Unfortunately I didn't see much during the snorkel but some people did see a turtle. That is the luck sometimes. On the way back, we sailed for a while and then the engine was started up and we sped back. We stayed up front the whole time but you need to be prepared for the spray. We enjoyed it but there is plenty of space in the back or inside the cabin if you'd prefer not. I want to make something clear--this is primarily a boat trip to view the Napali coast. The lunch and snorkeling were great extras, but don't book this solely as a snorkeling trip. That is not the purpose of the trip. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable day.

We did the 4 hour Napali adventure and had the best time seeing all of the Napali cost on our raft! We had Manu and Koa on our boat and they were hilarious while also informative about the history of Napali. We were able to see 2 pods of spinner dolphins and while snorkeling we swam right beside 2 sea turtles and a sting ray amongst many beautiful fish. Of course the ride is not easy, so you want to be in good shape and ready to hold on for dear life, but it was by far the best tour ever and we had a blast! Also they do provide dry bags so we were able to take our camera and now have beautiful photos of the coast and sea caves! Don't miss out!

We spend 2 weeks in Kauai every year and have done so for 20 plus years. We thought we had enjoyed every activity possible over the years, but found out we have been missing one of the greatest Kauai activities available-Captain Andy's Na Pali Coast Sunset Dinner Cruise! The cruise was outstanding. Views of the coast were breathtaking, crew service was impeccable, dinner and cocktails were wonderful, and the sunset was spectacular. If you're going to Kauai, make sure you put this one on your itinerary-you won't be sorry!

Great trip with captain Roy. Really informative, safe, and fun. Went with a large group, but would be good solo, couple, or family also. Unfortunately did not get to snorkel (no good clear water that day), but did swim and get to jump off boat. Food was surprisingly good — not usual for this type of trip.
