"Best thing we did in Maui!"

Riding a horse along the ocean was always on my bucket list. I am glad I chose the Mandes Ranch. The employees at the ranch were very friendly and helpful. The views that we saw on our ride were the best that we saw on our trip.

We had a fantastic morning ride. Rocky, our guide, was excellent. The views were gorgeous, we were able to run the horses for a couple of legs. Lots of Aloha drinks were available. And we stopped at 2 picture taking spots that Rocky stopped to take our pictures. My 13 year old said when we come back we should do this again. And we will!!!

I was so excited to do this tour. This is a working farm with sheep, cattle, peacocks, pigs, & horses. When we got there was greeted by one of the caretakers of the farm who ended up being our guide. Super nice guy. The ride was very scenic and informative. I give 3 stars because I was shocked as to how muddy the coral was and how ungroomed the horses were. It seemed like one of the other riders horse may have had issues. It was stopping every so few steps like it was having a hard time breathing or making it up the hill.

My girlfriends and I had the pleasure of Riding Big Mac (revved up) Polo (good energy) Qwen (Hungry) Bailey (great horse) and Big Red (stubborn). The guides were FANTASTIC and the views were out of this world. The land itself is stunning and I would definitely come back. They also have areas were they can run which is a huge plus to ride here.

"Breathtaking views on horseback"

This was a highlight of our trip for kids and adults. The guides carefully pick horse for your size and experience. Felt very safe. My 7 yo daughter who has had a few lessons did very well with her horse. My 10 yo son who never sat on a horse before needed leading but had a lot of fun. we were able to trot a couple of times. My horse Kai wanted to eat along the way but I figured out how to get him along. Guides took pictures of everyone at one stop midway. Did I mention how breathtaking the views were? Pigs, peacocks and other animals rounded out the ranch experience.

It was my first time horseback riding & everyone at the ranch made it an amazing experience. They paired each person well with an appropriate horse & all of them know the trails and walk slow, which is great for a beginner. There were incredible views along the way & they even took photos for us at certain points. The guys were always there keeping an eye on everyone. For fun, there were parts where you can run with your horse - only if you choose to. I would definitely do this again!
