"Cocktail Cruise, a great option for an evening cruise"

Full Disclosure: We were comped four tickets to the Cocktail Cruise after purchasing four tickets on the Lanai Snorkel Trip. I can't say anything about the full dinner cruise, but from the sounds of people around us, seemed like folks enjoyed the meal. A solid four stars excursion: - the captain and crew were helpful and friendly - the ride was nice and easy with great views - the boat was large and in great condition - drinks and veggie tray were a plenty The only reasons this is NOT a five star is that there was only one hot hor d'oeuvres option and we had been told that there would be plenty of delicious hot hor d'oeuvres. The potstickers were less than impressive. The other thing is that it is BYOB which seems a bit odd. Will be great if they can get their liquor license and be able to serve alcohol on board.

We booked the sunset cruise the same day and were able to get in the ship. The crew were extremely friendly and the food was good(prime rib and mahi). It was extremely windy so the captain could only take us so far out. No problems and still was very nice and relaxing. For only $60 per person well worth the money for a 2.5 hour cruise with food. And yes, BYOB!!

"No booze cruise (at least for now)"

New, very nice boat that doesn't have a liquor permit at this writing. No problem because you are welcome to bring your own and they will provide glasses, ice and mixer. All non-alcoholic beverages are included. Seating is first come, first serve. Not being familiar with the ship, we opted for the first level. The second level has the music and the top open level has nice seating and viewing, but no tables. Crew was very nice and helpful. Food was buffet style. Good, filling and plentiful. Just felt that without the normal pattern (w/o liquor) the crew was somewhat lost on what to do. The appetizers should be separate from the bar to make that work flow better.

My friend and I booked a sunset dinner cruise with Quicksilver on their new boat, Calypso. The boat was very nice. The views of the island were terrific. However, the staff was awful. They never told us where the drinks were. Because it's a new boat, they don't have a liquor license. They don't serve any cocktails; you have to bring your own alcohol. The four guests next to us brought their own liquor and wine. They had great service. The staff constantly asked them if they needed anything, poured them drinks, etc. My friend and I were consistently ignored. We had to get our own drinks. We felt invisible. The staff took pictures for all the other guests, but not one person asked us if we wanted a picture. The food was awful. I think you had to be drinking your own alcohol to enjoy it. We will never go on this dinner cruise again.
