The crew was friendly and helpful. The ship and was an old rust bucket. the food was not worth eating. The fish was overcooked and tasteless. The alcohol was of the cheapest variety. It was a wast of $ 270 and the time of two others.

We arrived early at 3:45 for the 5:00 cruise so we could be in the front row. Sarah checked us in and told us where to “start the line”. When no one else got in line behind us, we asked again and we were told “I’m not a kindergarten teacher”. Yes we did get the front row and I highly suggest the lobster. The “combo” dinner was marginal. I would recommend the lobster. Salad was fair as well as the 3 bites of the chocolate Costco cake. Dinner was by far the best part of the trip besides the live singer. You are given drink tickets, but don’t bother. You won’t be served much to use them. I had 2 very juicy mai tai’s with little “punch” to them in 2.5 hours. My order was repeated 3 times and my mai tai was given away all 3 times. This is a laid back cruise with marginal service but great views. We were also told you had to leave a $10/per person tip.

"Pleasant enough but a little overorganised"

I've done lots of snorkelling tours around the world and this one was pleasant without being thrilling. The young staff were all very pleasant but they kept trying to corral us when we were in the water and I lost the opportunity to follow a turtle when I was yelled at to come close to the boat. One of the staff took some great underwater photos - although accessing them was quite pricey. All in all, a reasonable trip to Lanai.

"Quicksilver Sunset Dinner Cruise"

Our dinner cruise was pleasant. The crew was nice, the food was good, the sunset was lovely and the weather soothing. I did quite a bit of research before selecting the Quicksilver package. I wanted something memorable as a treat for our friends who were celebrating their anniversary and had never been to Hawaii. What I found disappointing was that even though they advertised live music on board (Hawaiian performer?) we had only canned music (70s / 80s songs on a CD?). Inclusion of live music was one element that was important in my decision to book with Quicksilver. When I asked about it as we headed to shore, I was told he got left at the dock because no one had informed him of the earlier departure time that had just been implemented. That was it. Basically an "Oh well". The sad thing is, the package we paid for included live music. Other sunset sails charge an additional amount to include live music. We paid, just didn't receive. Had there been a "We're sorry / We apologize" announcement or attempt to compensate (e.g., here's a coupon for a free gelato when you get back) I think the disappointment would have been dampened, but a smile and "Oh well" just didn't quite wrap up the evening on the note (no pun intended) I had hoped for.

Great staff, lovely music, beautiful ocean and a rainbow over the West Maui mountains! My wife, boys and I took a dinner cruise with QuickSilver and had a lovely time. First, the staff were very welcoming, funny and informative. The captain did a great job going through the safety detail while keeping the party alive. The live jam was provided by a super talented young man who surprisingly knew jams from the 70s to today. He even sung a song for my son’s birthday. The food was awesome too. We ordered all options: the fish, the chicken, the lobster, the steak and the veggie plate. My favorite was the lobster but all of the choices were nice. Cruising in the channel between the islands was so chill. Being able to see Maui from the water while listening to the island vibes was one of the more memorable experiences we had. Nice work QuickSilver!
