We booked this tour while we stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. About $70 each, which is very reasonable for a 4.5 hour tour. The ship berthed at Kauai on Thursday and we met the coach at 8:20. I say 8:20, it was more like 8:40 when we boarded, which is not a long wait but there is no notification from the staff which coach is which, so you are left waiting and wondering. The island itself is stunningly beautiful and worth the money any day of the week. The canyon is amazing. We’ve never seen The Grand Canyon but heard some on the coach saying Waimea was better, although on a smaller scale. The tour was a little rushed but that is partly due to some people turning up 10 minutes late. We were promised the best shaved ice in the Hawaiian Isles but that didn’t happen or even mentioned? The tour guide was very pleasant but seemed more interested in telling us about local business, the guy who owns the shop at the intersection and how much the houses sell for today. She had a good knowledge of the local fauna and flora which was great but I’m still waiting to be told anything about the formation of the canyon! A bit disappointing. To be honest, the sights themselves are worth every penny but I could do without the commentary on this occasion.

We booked this tour for the beginning of our trip and it was so worth it! It gave us a general idea of what's on the island and helped us decide where we would like to spend more time for the rest of our trip. The tour is around 7-8 hours long but it really flies by. Our tour guide was Cousin Dave and he was AWESOME! We actually looked forward to going back on the bus at every stop so we could hear more of what he had to say. He talked about the history of the island, the current state, pointed out landmarks along the way, and was just super knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend this tour for people who are traveling to Oahu for the first time and booking it at the beginning part of their trip.

Husband and I used Roberts Hawaii for Pearl Harbor and USS Missouri tour. I was unsure how it was going to be since it was a big bus full of people, but it went very well. I am sure that depends on the other people on your tour so i guess we got lucky. Pick up was very prompt. The bus is comfortable. Our tour guide, Wes, was very informative and fun. Once at Pearl Harbor he explained how to use the audio tour, gave us our tickets for the Arizona and told us what time to be back on the bus. I liked not having to follow the whole group around, we were left to see and do as we wanted. Then off to the USS Missouri which was the same way. Before dropping us all back off, he drove us to a few sights around Honolulu and even let us off for pictures when he could. Would definitely recommend and thanks Wes for an enjoyable day.
