"Maui Hana Sky-Trek Half-Day Tour"
July, 2016
This was our first trip to Hawaii and our first ride on a helicopter. My husband and I brought our 14-year-old and 12-year-old boys, and the trip was perfect from start to finish. The helicopter ride was probably the biggest hit, but we had a very enthusiastic driver for the second leg of the tour who pointed out local plants, led us into small caves, took our family photos, and even found a waterfall for our boys to jump off after we told her it was something they really wanted to try -- even the couple with us that we had just met were yelling in excitement when they jumped. Truly memorable experience that we'll cherish forever.

We took the deluxe tour to Hana. Our tour guide Keith was amazing! He knew so much about the plants, flowers and history of Hawaii and he made it all so relevant! He even had us try mountain apples that he picked himself! Keith was very patient and gave us plenty of time to explore. We did not feel rushed, which can happen on this type of tour. The luxury van was extremely comfortable and everyone had a great seat for Pictures! If you want to take the trip to Hana, this is the safest and most enjoyable way to do it! Thanks Keith for also being our own personal photographer !

"Road to Hana small group with helicopter down was GREAT!!"

Scott was our tour guide and he was AMAZING!!! .... we also thought he looked like Glenn Frey😎 He’s lived on the island since the 90’s and knows so much! I was apprehensive about driving the old, curvy road to Hana, but Scott drove carefully and we loved every minute...mostly loved swimming in a lagoon with a waterfall!! In addition, he knew EVERY place to get out to experience and EVERY photo opp!! He even took pics for us and taught us some cool ways to photo the amazing things we were viewing! We had a nice lunch that Scott set up towards the end that was very good then He took us to the helicopter pad and let us go! Even though we throughly enjoyed the drive up with Scott and our small group of 5, we were excited to take a 36 minute helicopter ride back instead of 3.5 hour drive back down!

This is our second trip to Maui and we have done the road to Hana twice. The first time we made the mistake of driving ourselves using a recorded tour. This time we used Temptations Tours and it was so much better. Our driver and tour guide Christopher was an incredible host. He made the day fun and informative. We learned about Hawaiian culture/stories/language and he seemed to know every tree and plant on the road to Hana! We stopped to swim, take pictures and had a wonderful breakfast in Paia at Cafe Mambo and lunch in Hana at the Hana Hotel. The day couldn’t have gone better. My daughter loved it so much she said she would go again tomorrow. Thank you Christopher and Temptation tours for a great day.

We did the Sky-Trek excursion, 7 am ride to Hana-lunch-1:15 helicopter ride (Blue Hawaiin) back from Hana airport to Kahalui airport. The whole process was seamless. Signed up on line. We got detailed instructions emailed to us days before. We are a family of 4 and another couple in tour with us. Pros: -Scotty our guide was the best, very friendly, safe driver, informative, accommodating to our needs, and stopped at all the nice photo-ops, even took our family photos. -Helicopter pilot, nice and safety conscious -stops at waterfall, black sand beach, Hana picnic -not having to drive back and back at reasonable time to do more exploring @ Paia Cons: the food at lunch
