Description

from Maui Hana Cave-Quest Day Tour
The day begins with complimentary pick-up between 7:00 am & 7:30 am. Traveling to Pa’ia leads us to start a new Adventure in Paradise with a light morning snack. Afterward, the journey to Hana begins. Tour the famous Road to Hana in the air-conditioned comfort of an exclusive, 6 to 8 guest, Luxury Limo-Van. Photo opportunities abound, along this spectacular sea-coast drive. Ke’anae, a quaint Hawaiian village with peaceful taro fields and Waikani Falls, glistening with fresh mountain rain water, are just two of the many sights to be enjoyed. Guests discover and learn, in-depth, about the native Hawaiian people, their culture, and land.

This full day Interactive Experience allows guests to tour the remote Hana Coast, plus discover Maui’s own “Wonder of the World”, the incredible Ka’eleku Cavern. Created by Pele, the Goddess of Fire, this enormous subterranean lava tube resembles a chocolate-colored Lava Cathedral Cave, frozen in time forever! Walk beneath the dense tropical rain forest of Hana through Pele’s famous underground passage. Discover elephant’s foot stalactites, mounds of chocolate colored lava drops and soufflé-like lava swirls formed over 30,000 years ago. Photos permitted, so take your camera for some mystical pictures of “Hana Down-Under”.

After the hike, guests delight in a scrumptious Pacific Rim Cuisine Lunch.

Heading back to the “real world”, we return from Hana at a “Maui-style” pace. There’s plenty of time to swim, or just relax and enjoy. Bring bathing suits and towels to capture a lifetime memory of swimming in a crystal clear, freshwater pool under a cascading waterfall.

Tour Returns: 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

Each Hana Cave-Quest Full Day Tour Includes:
- Luxury Limo-Van with only 6 - 8 Guests

"A must see tour"

Temptation Tours was the company we personally rated as # 1. It was worth every penny we spent and the Guide/driver of the mini bus Sean was the best guide ever. We felt we were in a best company and the mini van was one of the best. Sean took us thru the full day and narrated the history of all the places we went. He did not rush and took more than enough time to visit all the places and went above and beyond to make sure that we get the full knowledge of the place. We only wished we could convey and persuade our friends to go with temptation Tours when ever they visit Hawaii. Wonderful job our friend Sean.

Great adventure beginning with the Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour with Mike then after a tasty lunch, a fabulous trip from Hana returning with Tony. Incredible sites, great ride and Tony’s relaxed narration made for a wonderful afternoon of fun! So worth the combined trip to relax, learn, enjoy and see the North Coast of Maui.

We had an awesome time with Sean Hadden today on the road to Hana tour. Do not try to drive this yourself as you will be doing yourself a Dis service. You would not know where to stop for pictures or navigate the 1200 turns let alone the 110 one lane bridges. We pull recommend this tour for sure. Sean was very thorough and would recommend if you have a choice ask for him!

We spent practically all day driving the Road to Hana and back again. Keith is one of the best tour guides we have ever experienced. He was full of interesting facts and historical information about Maui and Hawaii, in general. Our three boys were as engaged and interested in what Keith had to say as my husband, mother and I were. We made several stops on the scenic drive, including a fabulous breakfast at Cafe Mambo, photo stops for waterfalls, getting up close to a wall of tears, walking around at Kaneanea and a tasty lunch at Trevassa in Hana. A real winning activity was the opportunity for our boys and my husband to body surf at Koki beach, just five minutes from Hana. Of course, we also stopped for banana bread and a swim in the waterfall at Pau’u a’a, which, even though it was raining, was something our boys will remember for a long, long time. We highly recommend this ultimate tour. We felt very comfortable asking Keith questions and asking for a little more time in the water for our active boys. It was a tour that seemed customized just for us and we know it’s not common these days to have something so special. Keith really made our day.

If you are able to rent a car do the tour on your own, there’s also a tour guides app for $6.00 you can download. $250 each person was not worth it. We were rushed with the two stops that we were able to stop at. We were only able to stop at black sand beach and one waterfall. We were told that twin falls was not worth seeing, turns out that’s a must see. Our driver Les was very nice and informative however he’s older and he stayed in the van instead of walking with us to the two stops.
