Had a wonderful excursion to the Kilauea active volcano. Krystal was our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. She made the excursion as good as it was even though it was quite foggy in the evening when we enjoyed the glow of the volcano. For the price this excursion was a great value.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the only opportunity for improvement we notice was related to the barbecue meal. The meat could have been hotter.

This was a fun and educational tour. Loved the short hike on the lava field to the black sand beach view. The dinner at the winery was great. I was so happy they offered a gluten-free option. Loved tasting the wines too. Our evening was capped off by a spectacular view of the glow from the crater. Well worth the cost.

Mitch was the best...great sense of humor, accommodating and very knowledgeable! He obviously loves this island! We weren't hurried to keep a schedule. Every place went visited during these 11 hours was spent as if it was the only one we'd see today...Kona Coffee Farm, Black Sand Beach, Painted Church, Great bakery, Thurston Lava Tube, Jaggar Museum. Lunch and dinner were delicious. They even accommodated my GF request. It was a long day but oh so worth it the time!
