"Do this your first day in Oahu"

If you only have one day, like us, do this. If you are staying more time, still do this first, it will help you decide where and how to spend the rest of your time. Keith Fujikawa was awesome as our guide, funny, engaging, knowledgeable, and he knew when to talk and when to just play some awesome Hawaiian music. We visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, where we ate lunch and then he gave us a recommended tour to follow based on our time there and what shows were going on--extra mile awesome. We then toured the North Shore, stopping at the Dole Plantation, a coffee and Macadamia shop, a Buddhist (?) temple and cemetery, and many other sites, including a wonderful lookout over the windward side. And, he got us back in time, as promised!! We did many tours on many islands, but this one was right at the top. Thanks Keith!

We did book our tour by calling directly Discover Hawaii. We were well served and well informed by Lan. We choose the Ultimate Hawaii Experience Land Package, to make the most of it!! First Day, we had the Oahu Circle Island with Pearl Harbor Tour. Our guide was Jonathan! Well informed, intertaining, we had so much fun! Stopping places additionnal to what was expected, meetings locals, giving us tips to make the most of every experience / visit. Fantastic pictures stops, so much history. Well, a perfect day for us! Thanks Jonathan for this day!! Second day - Premium Luau Package Very interesting site seeing, polynesian culture was well shown, interresting show. Welcoming and proud people there! They share with us fun stuff!! Meal was nice also, many choices in the buffet! Loved our evening! Third day - One Day Volcano Eco Tour from Oahu to Big Island. The trip started REALLY early but was worth it! We stopped at pratically every stop that we were supposed to but nothing negative with that; we saw the eruption of the volcano at Jaguar museum and stayed longer because of the rarity of this phenomenon (unlike big tour buses that didn't took advantage of this exclusive moment for there clients). It was an exclusive moment for us to admire this beauty of nature. John was our guide. Entertainning, calm, passionnate and well informed. We loved our conversations with him upon stops, based on personnal and cultural meanings. ______________________________________________ Ask for both of them when you book your trip, you won't be disapointed, they're worth twice your money :P Don't be afraid to book your tour with Discover Hawaii, very professionnal compagny.

"Hana deserves five stars!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Our family of 6 flew over from Oahu in the wee hours of the morning to do the Circle Tour. There was a family that didn’t follow instructions at the airport and thus caused us to run late. We were about to leave them when they came running for the bus, Starbucks in hand. Not nice. This caused us to have a lot less time at Pearl Harbor than we expected and it was kinda disappointing. We brought my 80 year old grandparents from San Francisco and that was the one thing they wanted to see most. We only had about 20 minutes to look around before our tour of the USS Arizona started, so we only got through one of the museums. The only downside of the day. That aside, the rest of the tour was fantastic! Hana was our guide and he was the best guide I think I’ve ever had on a tour before. He was a plethora of knowledge, full of jokes, super friendly, and didn’t stop talking the WHOLE day. He would even exit the bus at stops and walk around talking about the different locations and sites it offered. He himself deserves five stars!! When we got back on the bus with the others for the airport, it was interesting to hear about their days and different experiences. (We had all bonded over waiting for the last family that morning.) It sounded like we had the best experience of the day! We had a wonderful time with Hana and all our cousins on the bus. I will definitely look into a different tour next time I visit the islands.

"Honolulu tour booked through iCruise site"

First time using iCruise to book a tour. Booked online and paid for in own currency ($372.64 Aus for 2) before leaving on cruise. We were very happy with the tour. We travelled with friends and were picked up on time at port. We then travelled to Pearl Harbour to pick up 7 other passengers who were touring that facility. This was a bonus for us as it was not part of our itinerary but we got to spend 25 minutes there. The tour was 8 hours and included pre-ordered lunch at a Horse Ranch. We visited Dole pineapple plantation, Haleiwa, Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, Pali Lookout, Hanauma Bay and Diamond Head Crater. The small coach was a little worn inside but clean and comfortable. The driver was also the guide and looked after us well.
