"Turtles Everywhere"

My 21 yo daughter and I took the short Turtle Snorkelling cruise from the jetty at the back of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It was a brilliant no fuss, fast process with the emphasis on spending the most of our 2 hours in the water with turtles. A quick 10-15 min out to the snorkelling spot, a thorough safety briefing then into the sea. Our guides were knowledgeable and we were seeing turtles within minutes. There is alcohol and limited snacks (crackers, biscuits) but this trip is all about the turtle experience. We loved it! Would def recommend this if you have a limited time frame or don’t want to spend all day on a boat. We just wandered down from the Ilikai Hotel. Highly recommended!

Norwegian cruise lines ' Pride of America ' offers you an excellent experience of a lifetime ! Many of you have gone to Honolulu or Maui but until you visit the other islands you can't really say you've seen Hawaii ! From start to finish they provided 1st class treatment ! Arrival you stay @ the ' Waikiki Beach Marriot ( all transportation, luggage,& reservations are taken care of ). Next day you depart for the cruise & your luggage is waiting for you in your room. The ship is one of the most luxurious we've been on in all of our years sailing. Two days in Maui, one in Hilo, one in Kona,& the the last island Kauai which we found more beautiful than Maui. Hilo & Kona are opposite sides of the 'Big Island '.There is no casino which I thought would bother me but not having one was a blessing. More time to spend relaxing & enjoying the ships multiple attractions. Suggestion that'll save you hundreds of $ rent a car @ the ports of call. Stongly recommend Hertz. They have shuttle busses taking you to the office & return you to the ship. They are @ the port on one island & the price is competitiveif not inexpensive for the service & convenience. This way you set your own schedule & see what you want to see . I know I've rambled on & haven't touched on how much there is to see & do but I could write a book on this trip. You truly need to experience for yourself. We thought our Alaska ( land & cruise ) was great but this by far tops that in terms of beauty,rela- xation, attractions +++++. We were so pleased with our Norwegian Cruise Line experience that we're crusing with them again in January '18. Stay tuned for that report. Don'r forget you owe it to yourself to plan this trip of a life time this year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 3 person crew was really accommodating! They took the group to the exact spot where the turtles swim! We saw lots of turtles and and swam near/with them. I️ am a beginner swimmer and the crew made me feel comfortable in the water! We were a small group and they were very attentive to everyone’s needs (brought drinks out to us as we were lounging around, gave us other recommendations of things to do in Honolulu, etc) They also made us amazing drinks (SO SO GOOD) while we ate lunch and lounged on the boat deck/nets. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
