When have I ever had the opportunity to ride in a submarine... Never! So when I discovered this was even an option, I jumped on it. I actually bought this ticket in combination with the Island Breeze Luau and saved some money. My wife and I were celebrating our 35th Anniversary in Hawaii so I wanted to do everything I could do that would be memorable - this definitely did not disappoint! I wasn't sure how we were going to board the sub, but it involved get on a small ship, and encountering some very choppy waters. Being privy to sea sickness, I was not too excited about the transfer. Once on the sub, all was good. Seeing the underwater view from the submarine was amazing. Besides the fish, there were two shipwrecks we observed - so it was like watching the Titanic on a much smaller scale. Very unique experience that I would highly recommend.

I had never been to The Big Island before so I thought I'd do something different. I had purchased the tour online after reading about it, it sounded very interesting. I was not impressed at all! Total waste of $100 very over priced and not exactly what I thought it would be. I would never do it again nor would I recommend it. If the cost was $25 I would not complain but very disappointed that I doesn't $100 on this.

My son and I really enjoyed this activity in the big island. The staff was very friendly and great story tellers. I have an 11 year old boy who is a tough critic and he gives it a thumbs up. It's a must do!!

Great experience. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would have given them a 5 but was a little disappointed in the pictures we got. Most of the fish did not come close to the submarine.

We really enjoyed this trip. The crew were all great and the 'narrator' on the submarine had great dialogue and lots of corny jokes (fine by me). Due to weather conditions, lighting and visibility were pretty poor, but that's not their fault. We still saw a fair amount of fish. It's more just for the experience of saying you went on a submarine down to the bottom, than any spectacular wildlife viewing.
