Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the harvesting of Maui Gold® pineapple fields, the packing and shipping factory and one free pineapple. Guides use informational and colorful commentary to weave history and trivia into an authentic and memorable pineapple tour. Guests are encouraged to taste the various stages of the Maui Gold pineapple while learning the history and fascinating facts of this sweet fruit. Each guest can pick a pineapple to take home as a sweet souvenir.
Steve, your tour guide, is an expert on the history of the pineapple industry in Hawaii, Maui Pineapple Company, Hali’imaile Plantaton and Maui Gold® Pineapple in particular. Come join us today! The tour is held in Hali’imaile which is just 10 minutes from Kahului, with onsite parking available. Check in for the tour is next to the award winning Hail’imaile General Store restaurant. We are now offering two tours Monday- Friday at the Hali’imaile Pineapple Company. The first tour is from 9am to 10:30am and the second tour is from 11:45am to 1:15pm. |
