Haleakala Crater & Rainforest Full Day Tour in Maui

This unique package offers the opportunity to experience the wide variety of Maui’s diverse scenery - from Haleakala National Park, an exotic protea farm and paniolo “cowboy” country to the Hana Coast rainforest, waterfalls & a famous windsurfing beach - all in one day. Beginning with complimentary pick-up between 7:00 & 7:30am and then touring through the Central Valley, in one of our exclusive, 6 to 8 guest, Luxury Limo-Vans, we begin this Adventure in Paradise with a light continental breakfast.

Start the day “on top the world” at the pinnacle of Haleakala National Park at 10,023 feet. The “House of the Sun” visitor’s center offers breathtaking panoramas from the rim of the crater. There are many photo opportunities while descending this scenic mountain drive. View cattle and dairy ranches on the way to the Hawaiian paniolo cowboy town of Makawao. This unique town still has hitching posts, from back when horses were more common than cars. Today this quaint village is home to quite an eclectic group of little shops and boutiques.

Enjoy a bountiful Upcountry Pacific Rim Cuisine Lunch. After lunch, travel east through Ha’iku, where the grass is always a beautiful emerald green and bountiful avocados, citrus, bananas and exotic tropical flowers grow. After leaving Ha’iku, experience the spectacular Hana Coast rainforest. Visit Ke’anae, a traditional Hawaiian farming community, in which little has changed in the last 500 years. The return journey takes us to Ho’okipa Beach Park, the “windsurfing capital of the world.” Photo opportunities abound as these windsurfers really put on an aquatic show.
