Some 1200 feet above sea level, the Nu’uanu Pali Lookout is the site where Oahu was officially conquered by King Kamehameha the Great during his union of the islands. The drive of the island concludes along the South Shore of Oahu at scenic lookouts and dazzling rocky cliffs. Makapu’u Lookout, the Halona Blowhole, Sandy’s Beach, and Hanauma Bay Lookout offer spectacular views of open ocean, and the island of Molokai and Lanai on clear days.
